The Paris Higher School of Electronics (French: Isep – Grande École d’ingénieurs du numérique , abbreviated I.S.E.P. or ISEP) is a French engineering school and a member of the French Elite Schools Alliance. The original site was where Édouard Branly, a professor of physics at the Catholic College of Paris, a member of the French Academy of Sciences, and the father of the world’s wireless telegraph, discovered the metal chip detector in 1890 and led to the invention of wireless telegraph.
